Consulting Solutions is a Consulting firm specializing in helping organizations, businesses, and individuals find solutions for everyday processes and challenges. We provide strategic planning support, outreach and community engagement, organizational assessment, teambuilding, training, coaching, and much more.

Our Founder

Margarita Holguin, MPA, Founder

Our founder, Ms. Holguin has over 30 years of experience managing complex programs and services, and has been a Consultant for over ten years. She has extensive experience in strategic planning and program development and monitoring. She is experienced in assisting organization develop or reaffirm their vision and mission to ensure employee engagement.

Ms. Holguin is an expert in the area of Community Health Workers (CHWs)/Promotores and population health. She has extensive experience working to build capacities and core competencies for CHWs/Promotores working with at risk populations. Ms. Holguin was selected as one of 15 experts in the nation to serve in the National Steering Committee for Promotores de Salud. In 2009 Ms. Holguin developed San Diego’s first Promotores Academy. She is also the founder of the annual Adelante Promotores Annual conference, now in existence for over ten years. Ms. Holguin is the founding Chair of the San Diego County Promotores Coalition and continues as Co-Chair of the Coalition.

As the Director for the Chula Vista Community Collaborative (2007-2020), Ms. Holguin was instrumental in building coalitions and partnerships. She was a recognized leader and expert in reaching diverse communities. She developed programs and strategies to ensure community engagement and representation.

In 2017, Ms. Holguin was honored as Latina of the Year. Ms. Holguin received a Master’s degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Organizational Development. She also received her undergraduate degree in Management, and graduated magna cum laude.
